Give God What You Got; Watch Him Multiply It

Introduction:

Mother Teresa once said, “It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.” In John 6, a boy’s small offering of five loaves and two fish , given with an open heart, became a miracle in Jesus’ hands. This reminds us that even the smallest acts of love, when offered sincerely, can be multiplied to bless thousands of people and advance His kingdom.

  1. Generosity Starts With What We Have, Not What We Lack (John 6:5-9)God isn’t asking for what you don’t have. He simply asks you to offer what’s in your hands, no matter how small it may seem with a willing heart to serve others beyond your imagination.

Reflection Question:

How can you help advance God’s kingdom today with what God has given you?

  1. Generosity Flows from Faith, Not Fear (John 6:11)Don’t let fear hold you back. Generosity is an act of faith. Trust God with what you’ve got, and He’ll take care of the rest. Jesus didn’t hesitate when He received the loaves and fish from the boy. He gave thanks, then acted in faith and watch Him multiply it.

Reflection Question:

What fears might be holding you back from giving freely? How can you overcome them with faith?

  1. Generosity Overflows In Surprising Ways
After everyone had eaten, there were leftovers—12 baskets full. God’s provision is always abundant. When you give from your heart, and take action God not only meets the need but exceeds it.

Reflection Question:

Where have you seen God multiply your generosity in surprising ways?

Prayer this Week:

Pray for Higher Transformation Church to live out a spirit of generosity that transforms lives in the city of Austin and beyond.

Pray for a generous heart and freedom from fear or anxiety about giving.

Ask God to reveal opportunities to bless others with your time, talents, and resources.

Pray for God to multiply what you offer, making a greater impact for His kingdom.

Ask for God’s provision for those in need and to use you as His instrument of blessing.

HAITIAN CREOLE

Li Jan 6:1-14, Jak 1:17, Matye 6:21

Entwodiksyon:

Jenewozite Soti nan Lafwa, Pa nan Pè (Jan 6:11)

Pa kite laperèz anpeche ou. Jenewozite se yon aksyon lafwa. Mete konfyans ou nan Bondye ak sa ou genyen, epi li pran swen rès la. Jezi pa t ezite lè li te resevwa pen ak pwason nan men ti gason an. Li te remèsye, epi li te aji nan lafwa, epi gade li miltipliye l.

Kesyon refleksyon: Ki laperèz ki ka anpeche ou bay libreman? Kijan ou ka genyen yo ak lafwa?

Jenewozite Debòde Youn Fason Ki Etone (Jan 6:12-13)

Apre tout moun te fin manje, te gen rès—12 panyen plen. Pwovizyon Bondye toujou abondan. Lè ou bay ak kè ou epi aji, Bondye pa sèlman satisfè bezwen an, men li depase li.

Kesyon refleksyon: Ki kote ou ka wè Bondye miltipliye jenewozite ou nan fason ki pap janm sispan?

Lapriyè Semèn sa a:

  • Lapriyè pou yon kè jenere ak libète kont laperèz oswa enkyetid konsènan bay.
  • Mande Bondye pou revele opòtinite pou beni lòt moun ak tan, talan, ak resous ou.
  • Lapriyè pou Bondye miltipliye sa ou ofri, pou fè yon pi gwo enpak pou wayòm li.
  • Mande pwovizyon Bondye pou moun ki nan bezwen, epi pou itilize ou kòm enstriman benediksyon li.
  • Priye pou Legliz Higher Transformation viv ak yon lespri jenewozite ki transfòme lavi nan vil Austin ak pi lwen.
